Today, we're going to show you how to make your own Twisted Flower Charm! Grab a coffee, your beads, and let's get started!
Supplies Needed:
- 1 x 19mm Round Double Hole Bead
- 28 x 12mm Saucers
- 24 x 9mm Silicone Rounds
- 1 x Small Lanyard Clip
- 1 x 60” Nylon Cord
- Lighter Scissors
- Crafting Needle
- Pliers
Step-by-Step Instructions
1. On your cord, put your Double Hole bead on, followed by Saucer/9mm Round pattern (13 beads alternating between the saucers and 9mm rounds, starting and ending with the saucers). As you put your beads on, make sure to add your lanyard hook in the middle of your pattern.
2. Thread your needle onto your cord. Keep this strand on your needle as this will be your working cord that you will be using most of the time. Take your needle place, skip one hole on the double bead. Put your needle into the next hole, and force a 90 degree turn backwards, and come out the hole you skipped.
3. Add 13 beads in your saucer/9mm rounds pattern . Working away from your non-working cord, skip a hole and put your needle into the next hole, make a 90 degree turn coming back out the skipped hole.
4. Repeat step 3 again.
5. Add your remaining beads onto your working cord, skip a hole and put your needle into the next hole. Make sure your cord is underneath the first petal you created as you put your needle into the hole. Make a 90 degree turn and come out in the hole you skipped. You should have both cord coming out of the same hole now.
6. Tie a tight double knot.
7. Thread both your cords onto your needle, and put it back into the double bead coming out the other side. Pull your knot into the double bead.
8. Trim your ends and lightly fuse to prevent fraying.
Your Twisted Flower Charm is complete! Clip it onto your bag, keys, or anywhere you want to add a little handmade charm!
Happy Crafting!
