Cute, practical, and baby-safe - this DIY star teether has it all! 🌟 Made with our 100% safe silicone beads and tested for safety, it’s perfect for little ones to chew on. Let’s get crafting!
Supplies Needed:
- 30 x 15mm Round Beads
- 2 x 2.75” Beech Wood Rings
- 1 x 60” Nylon Cord
- Crafting Needle
- Scissors
- Lighter
- Pliers
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. String on 12 15mm round beads.
2. Place on the 2 wood rings and tie a tight double knot. Thread the needle onto one end of the cord, and thread it through one of the beads beside your double knot. Pull the knot into the bead. You should have a cord on either side of the bead.

3. On the cord that has the needle, thread on 2 beads. Skip one bead of your original ring, and push your needle into the next bead. Pull the cord tight.
4. Repeat step 3 five more times. Keep pulling the string tight as you work your way around.
5. Take the crafting needle off the cord you have been using (which is now much shorter than the other cord) and thread the needle onto the longer cord.
6. Thread the needle into the bead closest to the cord, going up into one of the corner beads so we can add the point of the star.
7. Place one bead onto your cord, and thread the needle down through the next corner bead.
8. Go through the next bead on the original loop.
9. Repeat steps 6, 7 & 8 until you have a bead at each point of the star.
10. Your cords should meet up now, so tie a tight double knot. Using your needle, pull the knot into a neighboring bead to hide the knot. Carefully trim the ends of the cord and lightly fuse the ends to prevent fraying.

Your Star Teether is ready to go! Happy Crafting!
