As you know, we’re big fans of bows around here! From our Dainty Bow silicone focal bead to our Tied with a Bow print bead—we’ll take all the bows we can get. So naturally, we had to create one more!
Learn how to make this stylish silicone bow clip—perfect for adding a touch of charm to your keys, tote, or everyday accessories.
Supplies Needed:
- 1 x 15mm Double Hole Bead
- 28 x 12mm Silicone Round Beads
- 1 x Premium J-Hook Clip
- 1 x 60” Nylon Cording
- Scissors
- Crafting Needle
- Pliers
- Lighter
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Start the cord by tying a knot at one end, leaving about a 5 inch tail.
2. String the beads in the following order: 5 x 12mm round beads, 1 x 15mm double hole bead, 3 x 12mm round beads, 1 x premium J-Hook Clip, 6 x 12mm round beads.
3. Thread through the double bead again and pull the cord tight.
4. Add 9 x 12mm round beads, then through the double bead. Pull tight.
5. Continue going through the beads in the first bow loop you created, ending back through the double bead. Pull tight.
6. Tie 2 secure knots. Thread back through the double hole bead, pulling the knot into the double hole bead.
7. String on your remaining 5 x 12mm Round beads.
8. Tie a knot as close to the last bead as you can.
9. Trim the ends of the cords and gently fuse them to prevent fraying.
10. And that’s it! Your Silicone Bow Clip is ready to go! Make it your own by switching up the colors or adding other silicone focal beads for a personalized touch.
