Kindle Strap

This Tutorial is for all the book lovers, we’re showing you step-by-step how to make your own Kindle Strap! The best part? You can customize it to match the book you’re reading!

Supplies Needed:

Step-by-Step Instructions:

1. Lightly fuse the ends of the cord to make threading your beads on easier.

2. Fold the cord in half, and loop onto one of the small lanyard clips.3. Thread your crafting needle onto both ends of the cord.4. Place half of your silicone beads onto both cords. Use pliers if needed. Once half of the beads are on, remove the needle from both cords.5. Place the remaining beads onto one cord as well as your remaining small lanyard clip. Rethread the needle onto this cord again, and place it back through the beads you just placed on, until you meet the bead you placed onto both cords.6. Tie two single knots, and pull tight. Thread one cord onto your needle, and place it though one of the neighboring beads beside your knot, pulling the knot into the middle of the bead.7. Trim the ends close to the bead, and lightly fuse to prevent fraying.8. Remove the protective backing from your adhesive heart hooks and place onto the corners of your kindle or e-reader. Press down firmly.9. Clip the small lanyard clips from your made kindle strap onto each adhesive heart hook and you're ready to go!Your Kindle Strap is ready to go! Keep it for yourself or gift it to a fellow book lover. We’d love to see what you create and don’t forget to tag us with #createdwithcarasupply
