We’re completely obsessed with our Daisy Silicone Focal Beads—so of course, we couldn’t resist turning them into a keychain! This design had our whole team swooning. It’s the perfect size to tuck into a bag or even a pocket, while still adding a fun, eye-catching pop. Learn how to make it here.
Supplies Needed:
- 13 x 9mm rounds
- 3 x Daisy Focal Beads (or any focal bead of your choice)
- 1 x 60” Nylon Cording
- 1 x Premium J-Hook Clip
- Scissors
- Lighter
- Crafting Needle
- Pliers
Step-by-Step Instructions:
1. Find the center of your cord and loop the center through the lanyard clip. Pull the ends through the loop to make a secure knot around the clip.
2. You now have 2 cords. On the left cord, slide on 5 x 9mm round beads. On the right cord, slide on 1 daisy bead.
3. Thread the needle onto the right cord (the one with the daisy) and keep it there the whole time.
4. Take the needle and thread it back through the last 9mm round bead on the left cord going in the opposite direction on the cord that’s already in the bead.
5. Pull both cords tightly - the daisy will sit snugly next to the round beads.
6. Place 4 x 9mm beads on the cord without the needle.
7. Place 1 daisy bead on the cord with the needle.
8. Take the needle and thread it back through the last 9mm round bead on the other cord going in the opposite direction on the cord that’s already in the bead. Pull tightly.
9. Place 4 x 9mm beads on the cord without the needle.
10. Place 1 daisy bead on the cord with the needle.
11. Tie a tight double knot.
12. Thread the needle up through the last daisy, pulling the knot into the bead. Thread again through the connecting 9mm round bead and up through the next daisy bead.
13. Unthread the needle and thread it onto the other cord. Place the needle through the 9mm bead beside the bottom daisy.
14. Trim the ends and lightly fuse to prevent fraying.
