As we look back on 2025, we find ourselves filled with so much gratitude!
This past year has been a challenging one in many ways, but also a year so full of learning and stretching! It’s been a season for us in the business where we’ve been able to intentionally dig deep into really defining who we are as a company, understanding what we do well and how we can continue to support all of you, our incredible community of crafters!
Instead of chasing every shiny new idea the crafting world has to offer (there are lots, haha!), we intentionally leaned into our niche and our expertise as North America’s largest silicone bead and craft supplier. We’re confident that focusing on what we do best will help us show up better for our makers and strengthens the creative community we’re so thankful to be part of.
What Does Success Mean?
One of the biggest reflections to come out of 2025 has been around the idea of success. So often, success in business is measured purely by growth, numbers, or revenue. While those things matter, this year reminded us that true success has to be deeper than that - especially if we want to navigate challenges in a way that demonstrates character and a larger perspective on what truly matters.
For us, success this year looked like steady faithfulness in our everyday work - using our individual gifts well and finding joy in what we do, serving our customers with kindness and genuine care, and supporting one another as we worked together towards our goals as a team. It meant facing challenges honestly, taking the time to seek thoughtful and wise solutions, and allowing even the difficult moments to stretch us, grow us, and refine us along the way.
We’re so thankful for a team that shows up every day here at the office with commitment, humility, and soooooooo much heart, and who genuinely care for and respect one another! The people who work here (and have worked here in the past!) truly make Cara & Co. what it is, and it’s such a joy to be part of this story together. Judging by all the 5 star reviews for our company on google, it’s clear that so many of you also appreciate the team here and their care for you too! Thank you!
Reflecting and Looking Ahead
As we reflect not only on this past year, but on more than a decade as a small business - time truly flies - our hearts are filled with deep gratitude to God for all He has provided. We've had teammates get married this past year, celebrate new life and pregnancies, walk through personal losses, celebrate big birthday milestones... and so much more! It was a privilege to walk through it together, and we are so thankful for the many people who have walked alongside us over the last 10+ years!
We’re especially grateful for our customers who have chosen Cara & Co. again and again, trusted our supplies, shared kind words, and supported our small business in countless ways - thank YOU! We recognize that behind every order that comes through our computer is a real person, a family, a story - and we don’t take that lightly. It’s a privilege to be part of your creative journeys and thank you for making us part of your family in this unique way!
As a new year begins, we continue forward with steady purpose, trusting God to lead, refine, and bless our work in all that lies ahead.
